“I hate writing. But I love having written.”— Paraphrased from various sources, including sportswriter Oscar Madison, played by Jack Klugman in the television series “The Odd Couple”
It has been said that writing is the art of re-writing. Anyone who has spent much time at this craft knows it is often a messy business, mentally and physically. (Picture crumpled balls of paper scattered around a wastebasket.) A writer’s source material, when pulled from a drawer or off a shelf, can overrun an otherwise tidy desk surface, making it look more like a workbench than a piece of office furniture. But there are ways to make the chore less arduous and the result more rewarding. That is what this website tries to show.
